There are NO SUBSCRIPTION FEES. Standard SMS and MMS charges apply. To remove your mobile number from our system, simply sms STOP HS to 33307 (for Maxis and Celcom users only). The Terms & Conditions for go2homestay.com:
General
1.By signing up at go2homestay.com, you hereby accept, acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions. The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to change, delete portions or in any way amend and/or revise the Terms at any time without notice to you. Your continued use of the go2homestay.com website and Mobile Portal after any such variation, amendment and/or revision constitutes your acceptance of the Terms as varied amended and/or revised.
2.You must be at least seventeen (17) years of age to sign up at www.go2homestay.com which includes registering via mobile by SMS ON HS to 33307. By signing up, you expressly acknowledge that you are at least 17 years of age.
3.go2homestay.com is not intended for use by children under the age of twelve (12) and all users between the ages of twelve (12) and seventeen (17) must obtain the permission of their parent/legal guardian prior to signing up at go2homestay.com.
4.In the event that you, as a parent/legal guardian, wish to allow Your child to sign up at go2homestay.com, you acknowledge that your child will have permission to access the go2homestay.com website & mobile portal including without limitation electronic mail (‘email’)and Web browsing capabilities through mobile phones,if applicable, but that you will otherwise remain responsible for your child’s use of and access to the go2homestay.com website and mobile portal.
5.You further acknowledge that, as the parent/legal guardian, it is your responsibility to determine whether the use of the go2homestay.com website & mobile portal and/or content transmitted through the go2homestay.com website & mobile portal is appropriate for your child.
6.All information will be treated as private and confidential and for internal use only.
7.The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia are not liable for any injuries, accidents & damages sustained, physically, mentally or financially from use of the go2homestay.com and/or Mobile Portal.
Movie vouchers
1.Winners of movie tickets and/or freebies are selected on a random basis and will be notified by any means of communications deemed feasible.
2.Selection of winners shall be deemed final and conclusive under any circumstances. No complaint, appeal and/or correspondence will be entertained.
3.Tickets and/or freebies will be sent to the winners via mail.
4.The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia reserves its right to cancel, terminate or suspend the event with or without prior notice or reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by the organizer and the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia shall not entitle participants to any claim or compensation for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
5.The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia reserves its right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the go2homestay.com Contest and substitute or replace the prizes at any given time without any prior notice.
6.The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia will not be liable for any loss, accidents or injury acquired during, before or after the screening of the movie.
7.Attempts to forge the movie tickets will be treated as a criminal offense and if caught, perpetrators will be handed over to the authorities.
Homestay Vouchers:
1.Winners of Homestay Vouchers are selected on a random basis and will be notified by any means of communications deemed feasible.
2.Selection of winners shall be deemed final and conclusive under any circumstances. No complaint, appeal and/or correspondence will be entertained.
3.Homestay vouchers will be sent to the winners via mail.
4.The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia reserves its right to cancel, terminate or suspend the event with or without prior notice or reason. 6.The traveling costs (to and from) the featured Homestay venue are to be borne by the travelers. The 2D/1N Homestay Voucher covers the usual accommodation and food costs by the featured Homestay venue operator. Additional costs that are incurred at the Homestay are to be borne by the travelers. The featured Homestay venue is a licensed and registered Homestay operator by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia (MOTOUR). The list of licensed and registered Homestay operators is also available at http://www.go2homestay.com and http://homestay.uum.edu.my/
7.The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia are not liable for any injuries, accidents, damages & loss sustained during the journey and at the Homestay location by the travelers.
